Motivation at this moment in time is key now more than ever. The reason for this is due to the Covid 19 , because I think the whole country may go into complete lockdown with everything closing down, with this in mind we still have to try keep the motivation to not only do daily activities but exercise as well of course. This will keep you occupied from not being able to do much. Motivation to do things is very key to keep busy when at this time things will start shutting down. We should all keep active regularly at this point in time as it is great for you mentally and physically. Motivation is key to every day life not just in this moment of Covid 19, with Covid 19 not in terms of exercise or daily activity everybody needs to be mentally strong with this virus because a lot of people will go through spells of boredom, Especially those who have to be seen as doing something the whole time.

Exercise 2
Exercise is key to everyday life whether that’s indoor’s or outdoor’s.Reason being as it has physical outcomes in terms of the body changing, for example building muscle in gyms, loosing weight if a person is overweight or obese. Outdoor exercise is great as well because for one your getting fresh air which is good for your Mental health which realise endorphins. There is some great types of exercise you can do in the outdoors they are as follows- walking, jogging ,running, cycling , circuit classes and boot camp. Walking firstly is something nearly we all do other than those that are wheelchair bound unfortunately. When walking normally by doing jobs in your town is different compared going for an actual walk in your nearby park because it would not be as stuffy.Walking is the easiest type of exercise to do for those that are able to walk as it require less effort than running. Running in the outdoors can be great not just because you are working up a sweat but you are picking up the pace as compared to walking . Running has it’s benefits they are that they strengthens your lung capacity,Strengthens your immune system, weight control and stronger legs. Along with walking and running it can have a social aspect as there is walking and running clubs.
Sport 2
My Second post on Sport I will be talking about why we all take part in sport. I take sport because I enjoy taking part. I enjoy the social part of taking part in it. I think everyone should take some sort of Sport as a hobbie to participate. Sport and exercise is for everyone really as you could be good at any sport but also bad . This shows we can all be good at some sports and bad at others. Sport Ireland is the authority tasked with the development of sport in Ireland. This includes participation in sport, high performance, sport , anti doping, coaching and the development of the Sport Ireland Campus.
Sport has Local Sport’s Partnership’s 29 in total in Ireland they undertake a wide range of actions with the aim of increasing participation and physical activity. These actions are group within four areas – Working to develop clubs ,creating great opportunities, provision target programs and providing information. They target Unemployed, Disadvantaged areas, older adults, young people,People with disabilities,Women and girls and Ethnic minorities.
Sport Ireland has Sport inclusion Disability officers aim to increase the participation of people with disabilities in sport, fitness and physical activity throughout the country.
Sport partnerships are vital for creating more and more participation in every sport for all abilities. The Limerick Sport’s Partnership have given us a good start in 1st year during college. We have taken part and taught the following the Being Well program, Fundamental movement skills program and The mini Great Limerick run. Thank you for reading my second blog on Sport .
Motivation 2
Continuing on from our first post on motivation which was basically as for we do things in general for example normal daily tasks. So today we will be talking about motivation for Sport. So for me my motivation for any Sport I used to play was to always try get better technically which I had trouble with as a Kid and sometimes even now days as I mentioned earlier on with having dyspraxia albeit only a mild learning difficulty. The motivation side of things has probably got me where I am today considering all the medical sicknesses I have had through out the years since I was born, as there was always obstacles. Today the 28th of February 2020 I am 23 years of age 2/3 of the way through 1st year in Limerick Institute of Technology in which I am doing Community Sports Development QQI Level 7. Sport for me has always been a big factor in life. When I was fighting in Taekwondo my motivation for when I went to the World Championships London was to win any sort of a medal unfortunately that did prevail I was very disappointed but next major competition that was on offer to win a medal was the Irish Nationals in which I won a Bronze medal .This is one of my proudest achievements in what I have done, this was back in 2013. The following year around May time my motivation due to school , friends and I suppose the age I was at the time meant I lost the motivation unfortunately. I may have lost the motivation then, but I have fond memories from that time. My motivation for the sports I have eider been involved in or teams I have supported have never dwindled. Out of all these in terms of Motivation that has never left is the club I support which is Manchester United since I was 4 or 5 years of age there was just something that stuck for me basically fell in love with it. Motivation is key to whether it is every day life , sport or exercise as you wont get anywhere without a good motivator or a good mindset.
Thank you for listening to my second post on motivation
Exercises
My first post on exercise will be about why we exercise. We exercise daily in order to be able to do physical house jobs these would in include the following being able to get up off the floor, bending down correctly in order to get up off the floor. Thirdly is to feel good and confident about ourselves. Fourthly for some is to look good depending on the type of exercise. Their are numerous other reasons why people they are the following Health benefits, increased emotional , Independence , Socialising and fun. The recommended Physical activity for older adults is 150 minutes of moderate intensity aerobic physical activity throughout the week or 75 minutes of vigorous Aerobic activity this is for adults aged 64 +. Adults with Disabilities Be active as your ability allows.Aim to meet adult guidelines of at least 30 minutes of moderate intensity to five days a week this is the same for adults as well.Exercise for Children is so important as well kids should be exercising 60 minutes a day at a vigorous to moderate level this is for children and teenagers aged 2 to 18. Adults aged 18 to 64 years of age should at least be active 30 minutes 5 days a week.
Sport
Sport can be for all abilities. Here we will be talking about the FAI’s Football for all program. The FAI is the National Governing body for Football/Soccer in this Country of Ireland.
This program’s central aim is to deliver football opportunities to those who may not ordinarily have those chances. The FAI were the first sports governing body in Ireland to appoint a National Coordinator. The FAI now has two full time staff with responsibility for providing a clear pathway to those who want to play football that have disabilities from Club to Country whatever there ability allows.
The Associations are as follows some of the program’s they run Blind Football Ireland (BFI). Association of Irish power chair football (AIPCF) and Irish amputee Football Association(IAFA). Lastly another one of the main Football for All teams are the Irish Cerbal Palsy football team they compete regularly.
Coaching for the Football for all is just as key as for what it would be when it comes to main stream Soccer in this Country in order to be able to develop the players to the best of their own ability.
Motivation
Getting started
My first piece on Motivation is basically why do we anything? First reasoning is the first thing we do once we wake up is open our eyes. Then we have two option have a breakfast and go for a shower or vice a versa. Their has to be a purpose for people who are highly motivated for example setting out daily chores and tasks. Where these things do not happen can get quite disrupted, due to the one could be less motivated to put effort into the day because they might feel sad or depressed.Sleep is a key factor for daily motivation because if you do not get 7- 8 hours sleep a night regularly enough your energy levels, motivation and self esteem will all be down. A good food diet plenty of exercise , good water intake plus as mentioned above a good sleeping pattern will help your daily motivation. Everyday has positive aspects even if you are having a bad day.
