Continuing on from our first post on motivation which was basically as for we do things in general for example normal daily tasks. So today we will be talking about motivation for Sport. So for me my motivation for any Sport I used to play was to always try get better technically which I had trouble with as a Kid and sometimes even now days as I mentioned earlier on with having dyspraxia albeit only a mild learning difficulty. The motivation side of things has probably got me where I am today considering all the medical sicknesses I have had through out the years since I was born, as there was always obstacles. Today the 28th of February 2020 I am 23 years of age 2/3 of the way through 1st year in Limerick Institute of Technology in which I am doing Community Sports Development QQI Level 7. Sport for me has always been a big factor in life. When I was fighting in Taekwondo my motivation for when I went to the World Championships London was to win any sort of a medal unfortunately that did prevail I was very disappointed but next major competition that was on offer to win a medal was the Irish Nationals in which I won a Bronze medal .This is one of my proudest achievements in what I have done, this was back in 2013. The following year around May time my motivation due to school , friends and I suppose the age I was at the time meant I lost the motivation unfortunately. I may have lost the motivation then, but I have fond memories from that time. My motivation for the sports I have eider been involved in or teams I have supported have never dwindled. Out of all these in terms of Motivation that has never left is the club I support which is Manchester United since I was 4 or 5 years of age there was just something that stuck for me basically fell in love with it. Motivation is key to whether it is every day life , sport or exercise as you wont get anywhere without a good motivator or a good mindset.
Thank you for listening to my second post on motivation
